Review: Ok, first if you rate one star because of some junk about "let kids be kids" then I will tell you some insightful things about the world.
1. The rate for kids to grow up is how fast THEY choose to grow. Honestly.
2. Gayness is not political. Why do you say it is political ?
3. I HATE THE HATERS
Anyway. This book was great. Very funny. ☺☺☺☺

Review: Fairly easy read, except for some Norse and Gaelic words, but Rick Riordan does provide you with a pronunciation guide in the back. The books series "Magnus and the Gods of Asgard" will tempt you with this third edition to this beloved series. Bury your nose in this book of Norse gods and goddesses, giants, elves, dwarfs, and heroes.

Review: First time I saw the phrase "the final installment of the series" I was kind of shock and disappointed.
I love all the Fellowship too much to be parted in such a short 3 years.
Well, that's why I didn't read it right away.

But after knowing there is the next book, kind of special quest as you all may know, I felt happy to start reading.
After I finished the book, I felt positive there would be the Next Chapter for them.
Because, as you know Ragnarok is still waiting to be started.

In this book many secrets of the fellowship members are revealed.
You will understand why Mallory's always been on the angry side, why Halfborn looks sad sometimes, and why T.J is so brave and cheerful.
Actually, T.J. story is the most impressed one for me. At some point I don't know whether to laugh or cry for him.
Hope I can read about his cheerful bravery much more in the future.

Well, and Magnus...
Magnus is Magnus...not so useful at a lot of times (big laugh), but you can count on his heart especially when it matters the most.

And then, my favourite character, the sweet Heartstone!! (of course you too, Blitzen)
Just the chance to read about his (or their) story make me happy enough.
He is the quietest one on the team, but his presence is the loudest in my opinion.

I didn't think I will love this series nearly as much as I love Percy's but I do, even though the Norse Gods are still so shallow in my feeling (I think may be that's why the weight of the story in this series is not as much as Percy's).
Because, different series should have their own style and their own rhythm.
If they are all the same, there is no need to have or enjoy the 'new' one, right.

Can't wait for Oct 9th this year.
(Ohhh, we still have Apollo to cheer on this May. Big kiss to Mr. Riordan for having 2 for a year.

Title: One of my Favorites

Review: I dont often re-read books but this series is one I keep coming back to. I love every character in this series and how they interact with each other. This book tied up a lot of the loose strings from the series and gives insight on others. My only complaint is that there aren't more books in this series to continue the story of Magnus Chase.

Side note- I've seen a lot of people complaining about how Riordan's political views get pushed onto the reader in this book, however I disagree with this. There are some things in this book that some people disagree with, if you are not comfortable with the subject of trans people this book may not be for you. If you are comfortable with that then you'll probably love this book, much like I do. Of course I do not speak for everyone, there are always outliers in something like this.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this book as much as I do and hopefully we can convince Riordan to write more books for this series.

Review: This cover is gorgeous. I got my copy of the book delivered yesterday, on release day, and I cannot get over it. SO PRETTY.

Now, onto the book. I love these characters. I want them all as my friends. Just like I did with Percy and Carter and Sadie and Apollo. So basically, everyone is awesome. Happy sigh.

The actual story: awesome. I mean, duh. Gotta say, the Greek gods are MUCH better at rewarding heroes, but what Magnus ended up doing was super cool and I LOVE it. Speaking of love...Malex forever! Page 262. :) Crazy smile.

Okay, so speaking of crazy smiles, that's all I had on my face these past two days. I read some of this book at school, so hopefully I didn't look too weird. The Ship of the Dead was super cool. Magnus and his friends had to do a bunch of impossible stuff and other kickass things. As always, the various Norse gods, jotun, elves, etc. were present. Good stuff. It made for some humorous and deadly (luckily not to Magnus or his friends) scenes.

This book revealed a lot of backstory on the einherjar. Mallory, Halfborn, T.J. It was heartbreaking, and interesting, and funny. I liked this a lot.

Oh, and WE SAW PERCY!!!!!!!!!! BADABADABADA!!!!!! Ahem. Anyway, something is happening down in New York. At least according to Annabeth at the end of the book. Also, Percy was there, like I said. He has a little sister, Estelle Blofis. :) :) :) Happy sigh. Squeal. Other noises that occur when Percy Jackson appears and is his beautiful self.

So yeah. 5 stars.
